The village of Isora is situated in the municipality of Valverde, north eastern part of El Hierro and located at nearly 800m above sea level. Furthermore, apart from the abundant supply of delectable fruits and vegetables, rich supply of livestock and dairy can also be located in this village which therefore provides a variety of top-notch cheese and milk for the entire archipelago.
The Isora village is filled with whitewashed houses, gardens and grapevines. Located at the end of the said village, overlooking the Las Playas, the Roque De Bonanza as well as the Parador Nacional is the “Mirador De Isadora”.
The village of Isora’s entire tradition continues to be intact in all of the villagers of Isora without any influence from any outsiders. The village also posses picturesque views with, as previously mentioned, exquisite whitewashed houses and wonderful landscapes. Isora offers a lot of opportunity to those who would like to reconnect with nature, due to its attractive botanical garden, along wit the “Monumento Natural De La Montaña De Tejina” and the “Barranco de Guaria”, which is considered as one of the oldest pine trees, located in the island of El Hierro.
